Book of Guralta

Guralta is the second largest continent of Eryobis and is comparible in size to the continent called Africa of old Earth. The continent is in the process of being split in half by tectonics and as such seems to have a "neck".

Due to a recently formed volcanic island chain and an underwater mountain ridge on the western edge of the continent that redirected a major ocean current, much of northern Guralta is a huge desert, while most of its southern half is more humid.

Most of the continent can be considered to be a savanna habitat, with a tropical savanna south of the great desert and a temperate savanna (mediterranean) being found in the north of the continent.
