Paleontological Record

The paleontological record of Eryobis is limited, for the galactic laws of our imperium forbid the unsanctioned destruction of native habitat on worlds that possess their own life prior to our arrival. As such, nearly all our knowledge of the prehistory of Eryobis comes from sites unearthed in the construction process of our settlements.

Despite this, we do know a surprising amount. We have found several major fossil sites from throughout the Zoic Eon and we possess numerous fossils found by chance.
